Misleading America? and to what end?

Representative John Murtha's poor assessment of our Army as made on the House floor is debunked here:

In Search of Murtha's Army

The idea has gotten lots of TV time in the last two weeks. Murtha and his group seem to have employed negative reinforcement to get the American public to abandon their resolve to stay in Iraq, and further confuse the American military presence there.

If anyone has evidence of an inadequately prepared force with "boots-on-the-ground" in Iraq right now, then they must bring case and point forward to the Army for correction. Broad accusations aired out on the House floor and on TV, only damages our Country's credibility in Iraq and abroad. Elected officials who seek to undermine the credibility of the U.S. military do so at their own peril as well.
